Badung Construction Statistics Cost Survey (SHKK) BPS Badung Regency

The Construction Expensiveness Index (IKK) is a price index that illustrates the level of construction expensiveness which is used as a proxy to measure the geographical difficulty level of an area. The more difficult the geographical location of an area, the higher the price level in the area. IKK data is obtained from the results of the Construction Expense Price Survey (SHKK) specifically for building / construction materials, heavy equipment rental, and wages for construction services.

The purpose of this survey is to obtain the price of each major building / construction material, rental of heavy equipment, and construction service wages as a basis for calculating the Construction Expense Index. Respondents from this survey are wholesalers / distributors / traders who sell building / construction materials to contractors.

Construction Expense Price Survey (SHKK) is conducted on a quarterly basis. The IKK data collection will be carried out 4 times in 1 year, namely January, April, July, and October. The survey enumeration activity in the fourth quarter was conducted on 21-31 October 2019. The survey was conducted in a quarterly period in the hope that the data collected would be more representative.
