Increased Capacity for Productivity Calculation and Rice Harvesting Area

The calculation of rice production is done by multiplying the harvested area data and production data per hectare (productivity). Beginning Subround 3 in 2018 the calculation of harvested area is carried out with a new method, namely the Area Sample Framework (KSA), while productivity measurements are still carried out by doing a braid by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) together with officers from the Agriculture and Food Service.

In order to increase the capacity of officers in calculating rice productivity and harvest area in Badung Regency, BPS Badung Regency invited the Head of Agriculture Statistics Section of the BPS of Bali Province I Komang Ari Wijaya SST, M.Agb. as a guest speaker in the Capacity Building event held in the Meeting Room of the BPS Office in Badung Regency on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, attended by 23 participants.
