Launching the Results of the Survey of Happiness Level Measurement in Badung Regency 2019

The implementation of the SPTK aims to produce indicators of happiness that are subjective to complement economic indicators that have been used as a measure of a country's welfare. Happiness index is composed of three dimensions, namely the dimension of life satisfaction, the dimension of feelings, and the dimension of meaning in life. For the second time, in 2019 the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in Badung Regency cooperated with the Badung Regency Research and Development Agency (Balitbang).

The Badung Regency Government on November 28, 2019 held the Launching of the Survey of Happiness Level Measurement (SPTK) in the Regency of Badung in 2019 which was located at Harris Hotel Kuta Galeria. The event was opened by the General Administration Assistant of the Regional Secretariat of Badung Regency.

In 2019 the Badung Regency happiness index reached 76.14 on a scale of 0-100. This figure increased from 2018 of 75.47. The SPTK results are certainly expected to be able to give a signal to the Badung Regency government from which side the population needs to be better considered.

On this occasion, BPS of Badung Regency continued to carry out the obligation to disseminate the 2020 Population Census.
