The 2020 population census which was carried out in an integrated manner with the Ministry of Home Affairs experienced many challenges as well as providing valuable lessons for future improvement due to a situation of pandemic uncertainty. Until today, January 21, 2021, the Central Bureau of Statistics will disseminate the SP2020 data collection results through the hybrid mode.
BPS Badung Regency together with the Regional Government of Badung Regency followed the online release at the Badung Regency Communication and Information Office. The Central Bureau of Statistics released the population according to de facto and de jure status, population composition by sex and population distribution by regency / municipality.
The Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Home Affairs are committed to continuing to work together to improve Indonesia's population data. It is hoped that the results of the release can complement each other so that data users get a complete picture of population data which is very important for planning in various fields.
Thank you to residents who have actively participated in the Online Population Census and residents who are willing to accept the arrival of officers and provide their data in September 2020.
Population participation is expected to return to the Advanced Population Census which will be carried out in September 2021 which aims to provide demographic parameters (fertility, mortality, and migration) and other population characteristics for the purposes of population projections and SDGs indicators.
