Kartini Day is commemorated every 21 April to coincide with the birth date of the woman emancipation fighter, Raden Adjeng Kartini.

The involvement of women in the parliament in Badung Regency shows an increase, from 7.5 percent in the 2014-2019 period to 20 percent in the 2019-2024 period. This illustrates that women are increasingly playing an active role in parliamentary decision making in Badung Regency.
