National Book Day was established on 17 May 2002 by the Minister of National Education in the era of the Gotong Royong Cabinet, Abdul Malik Fadjar. The commemoration of National Book Day is motivated by the condition of the Indonesian nation, which at that time maintained more oral traditions than answering demands for information by reading a lot.
Simply put, people in general still have a long tradition of conversation compared to reading habits. This idea originally came from a book-loving society who wanted to spur the level of interest in reading in society. In fact, they wish that the celebration of National Book Day can be as festive as the celebration of Valentine's Day.
Apart from being a data provider, the Central Bureau of Statistics of Badung Regency has also released a statistical publication book containing information about the data generated by BPS. Of course, #SahabatData can quickly and easily access publications produced by BPS Badung Regency via the https://badungkab.bps.go.id/publication.html link.
Let us increase national literacy by reading books, so that we can create an intelligent and cultured nation
