Pancasila Birthday in 2021

Every June 1, Indonesia commemorates the Birthday of Pancasila. The Birthday of Pancasila was initiated by Soekarno and delivered on June 1, 1945 in the BPUPKI session. Soekarno conveyed five basic ideas of the state which he called 'Pancasila'. Panca means five, and sila means principle or top. The five principles of the state that we know today as Pancasila are Belief in One Supreme God, Just and Civilized Humanity, Indonesian Unity, Democracy led by Solemn Wisdom in Representative Deliberations, and Social Justice for All Indonesian People.

The Bali 2019 Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) was recorded at 81.38 on a scale of 0 to 100. This figure experienced a decrease of 0.99 points compared to the 2018 Bali IDI figure which was recorded at 82.37.
