Construction Cost Price Survey (SHKK)

Construction Cost Index (IKK) is a spatial index that is used as a proxy for the geographical difficulty of an area. The higher the IKK, the higher the cost to build a building/construction in an area. The IKK is mainly used as one of the variables in the allocation of the general allocation fund (DAU). However, currently IKK is also used in determining the allocation of school operational assistance funds, village fund allocations, and so on.

The IKK is the output of the Construction Costly Price Survey (SHKK) which is carried out on a quarterly basis in all districts/cities in Indonesia. The Construction Cost Price Survey covers data collection/collection of construction material prices, heavy equipment rental and construction worker wages.

The Badung Regency Construction Cost Index in 2021 is 106.58.
