On May 23, 2022, the Head of BPS Badung Regency received an invitation to become a virtual resource person regarding the implementation of the Corruption Free Area (WBK)/Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM) in the Coordination Meeting of the 2020 Population Census Regional Coordination Meeting (SP2020) Continued by BPS for the Province of Sumatra South. The Sharing Session was carried out regarding the implementation of WBK/WBBM that had been carried out at BPS Badung Regency which had received the WBK title in 2021. Mr. Head of BPS Badung Regency, Dr. Yudi Agusta, MSc, has also previously led the Gianyar Regency BPS which has also succeeded in bringing the work unit to get the WBK title in 2018 and the WBBM title in 2020. On that occasion, representatives of the BPS Sakter in South Sumatra Province were present including the head of the work unit.
In the presentation given, the principles of implementing WBK and WBBM at BPS Badung Regency, initial and final conditions before and after the application of WBK/WBBM principles, and several work programs and breakthrough innovations that were applied related to the pillars of Bureaucratic Reform.
Participants were very enthusiastic to find out the planning and strategies applied in implementing WBK/WBBM, job allocation to employees based on working hours, and the end point of the finish line to be addressed in implementing this WBK/WBBM. The Head of BPS Badung Regency said that WBK/WBBM was not the final goal of this application. The final goal to be achieved is the formation of a work unit that is comfortable at work, where all required information is available at any time, complies with all applicable regulations and agreements, and answers various existing public service needs.
