Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

The Bali Province NTP Index in January 2022 was 94.61, down 0.17 percent compared to the previous month. The decline in the NTP index was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increased by 0.53 percent, lower than the increase in the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) of 0.69 percent.

Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 108.67, up 0.30 percent compared to the previous month. In January 2022, the NTP Index of the Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam recorded the highest increase, which was 1.74 percent. In contrast, the province with the deepest decline in the FTT index occurred in West Sulawesi, with a decline of 1.93 percent.

Judging from the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of Bali Province, in January 2022 there was an increase of 0.72 percent.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Bali Province in January 2022 was 94.34, down 0.15 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
