Release Date : May 9, 2022
File Size : 1.51 MB

Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The Bali Province NTP index in April 2022 was 93.69, down 0.80 percent compared to the previous month. The decline in the NTP index was due to the Price Received by Farmers Index (It) rising as high as 0.16 percent, slower than the increase in the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which was as high as 0.96 percent.

Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 108.46, down 0.76 percent compared to the previous month. In April 2022, the South Kalimantan Province's NTP Index experienced the deepest decline, which was 2.21 percent. On the other hand, the NTP of West Kalimantan Province recorded the highest increase, namely 1.44 percent.

Judging from the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of Bali Province, in April 2022 there was an increase of 1.14 percent.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Bali Province in April 2022 was 93.82, down 0.41 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
