Abstract

The percentage of poor people in Bali in September 2022 is 4.53 percent. down 0.04 percentage point against March 2022 and down 0.19 percentage point against September 2021.

The number of poor people in Bali in September 2022 was 205.36 thousand people, down 0.32 thousand people from March 2022 and down 6.10 thousand people from September 2021.

The percentage of poor people in urban areas in September 2022 was recorded at 4.12 percent, down 0.11 percentage point from conditions in March 2022 which was recorded at 4.23 percent. Meanwhile, the percentage of poor people in rural areas in September 2022 was recorded at 5.58 percent, up 0.19 percentage points compared to conditions in March 2022 which was recorded at 5.39 percent.

Compared to March 2022, the number of poor people in Bali in September 2022 in urban areas decreased by 2.24 thousand people (from 136.06 thousand people in March 2022 to 133.82 thousand people in September 2022). During the same period, the number of poor Balinese in rural areas increased by 1.93 thousand people (from 69.62 thousand people in March 2022 to 71.55 thousand people in September 2022).

The Poverty Line in Bali in September 2022 was recorded at IDR 515,037 / capita / month with a composition of the Food Poverty Line of IDR 357,640 (69.44 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of IDR 157,398 (30.56 percent).

In September 2022, on average, poor households in Bali have 4.29 household members. Thus, the average poverty line per poor household is IDR 2,209,509/poor household/month.
