The Farmer's Terms of Trade Index (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The Bali Province NTP index for February 2023 was recorded at 97.02, up as high as 0.89 percent compared to the conditions in the previous month. The increase in the NTP index was caused by an increase in the price index received by farmers (It) of 1.30 percent, which was higher than the increase in the index paid by farmers (Ib) of 0.41 percent.
Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 110.53, up 0.63 percent compared to the previous month. In February 2023, the NTP Index for the Province of South Sumatra was recorded to have experienced the highest increase in NTP, amounting to 2.41 percent. On the other hand, the Bangka Belitung Province's NTP experienced the deepest decline, by -2.25 percent.
The Bali Province Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in February 2023 was 116.76 or an increase of 0.58 percent compared to the previous month's conditions.
The Bali Province Agriculture Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in February 2023 was 98.65 or an increase of 1.20 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
