Bali Province Tourism Development August 2023

There were 522,141 foreign tourists who came directly to Bali Province in August 2023, down 3.55 percent compared to the previous month when there were 541,353 visits. Tourists from Australia dominate foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in August 2023 with a share of 23.07 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in August 2023 was recorded at 60.64 percent, a decrease of 2.96 points compared to July 2023 which was recorded at 63.60 percent. When compared with August 2022 (y-o-y) which reached 38.37 percent, the room occupancy rate in August 2023 was recorded to have increased by 22.27 points. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 39.86 percent, an increase of 0.26 points compared to July 2023 which was recorded at 39.60 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign and domestic guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in August 2023 was recorded at 2.55 days, down 0.02 points compared to the achievement in July 2023 (m-t-m) which was recorded at 2.57 days. When compared with the achievement in August 2022 (y-o-y) which was recorded at 2.04 days, the average length of stay in August 2023 increased by 0.51 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in August 2023 was recorded at 2.22 days, down 0.01 points compared to the average length of stay in July 2023 which was recorded at 2.23 days.
