Abstract

In April 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Badung Regency will be 4.15 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.73.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, including: food, beverage and tobacco groups by 11.39 percent; clothing and footwear group at 4.69 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.76 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.12 percent; health group at 5.13 percent; transportation group by 0.23 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.35 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.08 percent; education group of 0.80 percent; and the food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.32 percent. Meanwhile, the personal care and other services group experienced a decline in the index of 0.02 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Badung Regency in April 2024 are 0.03 percent and 1.70 percent respectively
