Every September 24 is celebrated as National Farmers Day. Indonesia itself is known as an agricultural country that relies on the agricultural sector both as a source of livelihood and as a support for development.

So far, the agricultural sector is a sector that contributes significantly to GDP, but its role is decreasing due to growth in the non-agricultural sector which is relatively faster than the growth of the agricultural sector.

In 2020 the distribution of GRDP on the basis of current prices in the category of agricultural, forestry and fishery business fields in Badung Regency is 7.45 percent. An increase in contribution compared to the previous year which reached 1.62 percent.
