August 2026 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Training

On Tuesday and Wednesday, July 21–22, 2026, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Badung Regency held the August 2026 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Training. Held offline at the BPS Badung Regency Office in two phases, following previous in-person and online phases, the training was attended by statistics partners acting as field officers.

The Head of BPS Badung Regency, Made Bimbo Abdi Suardika, SE., MAP, emphasized that Sakernas is a strategic national survey designed to produce high-quality employment data for formulating development policies and measuring unemployment rates. During the training, participants were provided with in-depth material, from employment concepts to practical interviews, by Regional Instructors to prepare them for various field dynamics.

In conjunction with the August 2026 Sakernas, BPS Badung Regency is also conducting the 2026 Economic Census. Active community participation is highly anticipated during visits by field enumerators. Honest and accurate information from the public is vital, as this employment and economic data is the government's primary foundation in designing programs to expand employment opportunities, improve welfare, and develop the economy, which have a direct impact on the people of Badung Regency.
