Abstract

The Bali Province NTP index in September 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -0.20 percent, from 93.34 in August 2020 to 93.16. The index received by farmers (It) was recorded to have increased as high as 0.14 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded to have increased higher, namely 0.34 percent.


The NTP index in September 2020 was recorded to have decreased in two sub-sectors. The decline was recorded in the food crop sub-sector, which fell -0.32 percent and the smallholder plantation sub-sector fell -1.75 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP sub-sectors that recorded an increase were the horticulture sub-sector (up 0.74 percent), the livestock sub-sector (up 0.36 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (up 1.21 percent).


The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in September 2020 was recorded at 93.20, an increase of 0.13 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 93.08.


Judging from the sub-sector, the NTUP Index in September 2020 was recorded to have increased in all sub-sectors except for the smallholder plantation sub-sector (down -1.38 percent). The NTUP sub-sector that recorded the highest increase was the fisheries sub-sector (up 1.38 percent), followed by the horticulture sub-sector (up 1.03 percent), the livestock sub-sector (up 0.63 percent) and the food crops sub-sector (up 0.04 percent ).


In September 2020, Bali Province experienced rural inflation of 0.49 percent and was the highest national inflation. This condition is in a different direction from the national rural inflation record, which recorded deflation of -0.07 percent. Of all provinces in which rural inflation was observed, the deepest deflation was recorded in Central Kalimantan with a magnitude of -0.47 percent.
