Abstract

The Bali Province NTP index in November 2020 was recorded to have decreased again from 92.83 in October 2020 to 92.61, or a decrease of -0.23 percent. The index received by farmers (It) was recorded to have increased by 0.52 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded to have increased higher, namely 0.75 percent.


The decline in the NTP index in November 2020 was recorded in three sub-sectors, namely the smallholder plantation sub-sector which fell -1.90 percent, followed by the fisheries sub-sector which fell by -1.77 percent and the food crops sub-sector which fell by -1.43 percent. Meanwhile, the horticulture sub-sector and the livestock sub-sector were recorded to have increased by 2.38 percent and 0.93 percent respectively.


The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in November 2020 was recorded at 92.88, an increase of 0.16 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 92.73.


Judging from the sub-sector, the NTUP Index in November 2020 was recorded to have decreased in three sub-sectors, namely the fisheries sub-sector (down 1.40 percent), the smallholder plantation sub-sector (down -1.35 percent) and the food crops sub-sector (down -0.79 percent). On the other hand, the horticulture sub-sector and the livestock sub-sector recorded an increase of 2.49 percent and 1.09 percent respectively.


In November 2020, Bali Province experienced rural inflation of 0.91 percent and was the second largest national inflation. This condition is in line with the national rural inflation record which recorded inflation of 0.51 percent. Of all observed provinces, the highest rural inflation was recorded in the DKI Jakarta Province with the amount of 0.92 percent, and the deepest deflation was recorded in the Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam at -0.06 percent.
