Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

The Bali Province NTP Index in December 2021 was 94.77 or up 0.79 percent compared to the previous month's conditions. The increase in the NTP index was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) increased by 1.30 percent, higher than the increase in the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) of 0.51 percent.

The NTP index for the January–December 2021 period in Bali Province was recorded at 92.84 with an It value of 99.89 and an Ib value of 107.59. This value has decreased by 1.52 percent compared to the same period in 2020.

Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 108.34, up 1.08 percent compared to the previous month. In December 2021, the NTP Index of East Kalimantan Province experienced the highest increase (2.59 percent) compared to the increase in the NTP index of other provinces. On the other hand, the DKI Jakarta Province's NTP Index experienced the deepest decline (-0.70 percent) compared to other provinces' NTP declines.

Judging from the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of the Province of Bali, in December 2021 there was an increase of 0.68 percent.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Bali Province in December 2021 was 94.48, an increase of 1.09 percent compared to the NTUP of the previous month.
