Abstract

The percentage of poor people in Bali Province in March 2023 was 4.25 percent, down 0.28 percentage points from September 2022 and down 0.32 points from March 2022.
The number of poor people in Bali Province in March 2023 was 193.78 thousand people, down 11.58 thousand people from September 2022 and down 11.90 thousand people from March 2022.
The percentage of poor people in urban areas in March 2023 was 3.77 percent, down 0.35 percentage points compared to conditions in September 2022 which was recorded at 4.12 percent. Meanwhile, the percentage of poor people in rural areas in March 2023 was 5.50 percent, down 0.08 percentage points compared to conditions in September 2022 which was recorded at 5.58 percent.
Compared to September 2022, the number of poor people in urban areas in March 2023 decreased by 10.00 thousand people (from 133.82 thousand people in September 2022 to 123.82 thousand people in March 2023). During the same period, the number of poor people in rural areas decreased by 1.59 thousand people (from 71.55 thousand people in September 2022 to 69.96 thousand people in March 2023).
