Archipelago Tourist Survey Training

To see the tourism situation and determine the direction of policy in the field of tourism, data from domestic tourists are needed and their characteristics and expenditure patterns are needed. The unavailability of up-to-date data has led to a survey of domestic tourists.

The Wisnus survey aims to collect data on the characteristics of Nusantara Travelers or Indonesian residents who travel in the territory of Indonesia in general and specifically to obtain information / data on how many tourists enter or come in Badung Regency and other information related to domestic travel. Besides that, it is also to find out various demographic characteristics as well as travel characteristics and expenses / consumption carried out by domestic tourists in order to travel according to their intended purpose.

Before the Wisnus survey was carried out, the Badung Regency BPS conducted training on Monday 25 March 2019 at the Santika Hotel. The objectives of this officer training are to equalize the perceptions of prospective officers in understanding concepts and definitions, practice technical skills in interviewing prospective officers who are good at getting data from respondents and the ability to transfer interview results into questionnaire entries.
