Abstract

EXPORT


The export value of goods from Bali Province abroad in November 2020 was recorded to have increased by 3.25 percent (mtm), from US $ 40,458,024 in October 2020 to US $ 41,772,255 in November 2020. When compared to November 2019 ( yoy), Bali's export value in November 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -18.12 percent.


Cumulatively, the export value of goods from Bali Province for the January-November 2020 period was recorded at US $ 414,382,506, down -24.08 percent compared to the same period in 2019 which was recorded at US $ 545,817,493.


Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali, the export value to Taiwan was recorded to have the highest increase in November 2020 (m-t-m), which was as high as 52.60 percent. This increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish and shrimp products (HS 03).


IMPORT


In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in November 2020 also showed an increase. The value of imported goods from Bali Province from abroad in November 2020 was recorded at US $ 3,969,318, an increase of 13.76 percent compared to October 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 3,489,288. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in November 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -83.11 percent.


Cumulatively, the import value in the January-November 2020 period was recorded at US $ 78,924,060, down -67.65 percent compared to the same period in 2019 of US $ 243,954,777.


Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports, the import value from China was recorded to have the highest increase, amounting to 111.97 percent (m-t-m), which was mainly due to increased imports of leather goods (HS 42).
