Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

The Bali Province NTP Index in July 2022 was 96.05, up 0.33 percent compared to the previous month. The increase in the NTP index was caused by the Price Received by Farmers Index (It) which rose as high as 1.27 percent, higher than the increase in the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which rose as high as 0.94 percent.

Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 104.25, down 1.61 percent compared to the previous month. In July 2022, the Riau Islands Province's NTP Index recorded the highest increase in FTT, at 1.70 percent. On the other hand, the NTP of Riau Province experienced the deepest decline, amounting to -11.43 percent.

The Bali Province Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in July 2022 was 114.17, an increase of 1.27 percent compared to the previous month.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Bali Province in July 2022 was 97.69, an increase of 1.05 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
